Certain medications can cause the skin to be photosensitive. To avoid adverse reactions from occurring, we advise you to seek medical clearance from your GP prior to proceeding with the treatment.
How many Capillary Reduction treatments are required for best results?
Vascular Lesion Treatments are effective and improvements can be seen after the first treatment. The number of required treatments will vary depending on the type and location of the vascular lesion. Broken capillaries on the facial area (usually on the cheeks, chin, and around the nose), will usually require 1-2 treatments done at monthly intervals. For Laser Flushing, we recommend 4-6 treatments done at monthly intervals for optimum results. We treat angiomas in the clinic and it usually requires one treatment. Our experienced Skin Therapists will assess the vascular lesion and provide a tailored treatment plan suitable to your goals.
Does this treatment hurt?
Pain tolerance varies between individuals. For Vascular Lesion Removal, you may experience a cold, tingling sensation in the treatment area and this will usually subside after the treatment. For Laser Flushing, it is a warming sensation on the treated area.
