The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a highly effective chemical peel suitable for all skin types. This treatment is convenient, often performed during your lunchtime, and typically results in minimal redness afterward. Potenza is proven to be safe. This treatment is suited to every skin type and skin tone with minimal downtime.
Depending on the number of areas that are being treated, each session of Potenza™️ treatment can be completed in just 30-45 minutes. However, you will also need to allow additional time for the numbing cream to activate.
A topical numbing cream will be applied prior to your Potenza treatment. Once the numbing cream is activated, the treatment should be very tolerable. During the treatment you may feel a mild sting, a warm sensation, or a light pressure from the needles as the device moves over the treatment area.
Initial results may be seen after the first treatment, however, optimum results are usually achieved around 6 months after a course of 3-5 sessions, each taking place one month apart. Results can be prolonged by maintaining a complete skincare regime recommended by our practitioners.
As with all of our treatments, our practitioners will work through a comprehensive consultation with you to determine the number of required sessions, considering important factors such as the skin’s health and specific concerns to tailor a personalised treatment plan for you.
The Potenza™ treatment is expected to cause little or no downtime. Some people may experience redness and swelling, but this should subside within a few hours. Patients can usually go about their day immediately. You should avoid direct sun exposure for at least four weeks post-treatment and wear sunblock with SPF 50+ for at least 6 weeks after the treatment to help your skin recover faster.
